Miss Tawna
Tawna Summerhays graduated from Brigham Young University with a Major in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, and a Minor in music.
She has taught children and young adults in a variety of settings such as preschool, music lessons (including master classes, group lessons, and workshops), and religious instruction.
She has put on a variety of summer music camps, teaching children from ages 4-14. These summer camps focused on learning an array of topics including the branches of the government, Periodic Table of Elements, the presidents of the USA, and the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, all through song.
Her musical background includes singing, piano, tuba, and choral and orchestral conducting. She has traveled across the U.S. and countries in Europe including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Austria perfoming and improving her musicianship.
Her energy and enthusiasm create a fun and exciting learning environment, and she looks forward to a wonderful school year with your child.
